An American-born and -trained physician, Dr. Raymond Osés has practiced in Argentina for more than thirty years. He has a special interest in donor gametes and has contributed significantly to setting standards for the practice of artificial insemination with donor sperm and for the overall management of donors in the country. 

He obtained his medical degree in Rosario, Argentina, and completed training in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. He later completed a fellowship in Endocrinology at UC Davis-affiliated Martinez VA Hospital in San Francisco. While at UCSF, he obtained a grant from the National Institutes of Health and gained hands-on experience in the field of reproductive medicine.

Raymond Osés, MD is the founder and Medical Director of the largest and oldest sperm bank in Argentina: CRYOBANK. He is also Medical Advisor and Consultant for OVOGENETIC, an independent organization which supplies vitrified donor eggs to different clinics around the country.

Over the years he has been an influential force in the field of reproductive medicine. He has written several articles and papers, is frequently invited to participate as a speaker, and he is nationally recognized as a leading authority on the subject. He has played a pivotal role in the initial practice of artificial insemination with donor sperm in single and lesbian women in the country.

He has partnered up with leading fertility institutions in Buenos Aires, Argentina and, with his associates and staff, performs third-party assisted reproductive treatments in patients from different parts of the world.
